As the leaves began to take on autumn hues and a crisp breeze filled the air, we embarked on a fall escapade to the Catskills. Join us on this journey as we recount the picturesque moments spent with friends and family against the backdrop of the Catskills' scenic landscapes and the whimsy of Halloween festivities.
Our fall adventure kicked off with a long weekend in the Catskills. Surrounded by rolling hills and gorgeous fall colors, we found ourselves immersed in nature. Hiking trails offered breathtaking views of the changing leaves, and quaint villages showcased the region's charm.
Days were spent exploring the Hunter Mountain Fall Festival, sipping warm cider, and having meals around a large table for all to share in the fun. The Catskills' embrace of fall made every moment feel like a scene from a postcard, and the cozy house we stayed in amplified the feeling. Evenings were dedicated to starlit strolls, bundled up against the chill, and cozying up by the fire with our loved ones.
As Halloween approached, we eagerly traded our hiking boots for costumes, transforming into characters that brought joy and laughter to both young and old. We spent October 31st, trick-or-treating with our niece, Addie and nephew, Nino. Watching the joy on their faces was magical.
We concluded the Fall season watching our niece Ava perform in her high school production of the Nutcracker. As she danced across the stage, it welcomed us into the holiday season. We are excited for all the family fun to come over the next month.
