Join us as we recount the highlights of our journey, from skiing and snowshoeing in Utah to cheering on our niece Ava as she competed in her high school sports nights competition, attending the annual family bowling party, took a trip to cheer on Boston College Hockey and celebrating St. Patrick's Day and Easter with loved ones.
Our journey began in the picturesque landscapes of Utah, where we reunited with friends among the snow-covered peaks. Eager to make the most of our time in this winter wonderland, Steve hit the slopes for a thrilling skiing adventure while Kim took to exploring Utah on snowshoes. We ventured into the tranquil forest and peaceful mountains, marveling at the untouched beauty of nature and the beautiful landscape. We all joined together after our snow filled activities to explore downtown Park City. It was our first time there and we loved the change of scenery.
As our time in Utah came to a close, we bid farewell to the majestic mountains and set our sights back home where family time awaited. First up, was cheering on the Gold Team and our niece Ava as she showcased her stamina and coordination in the Sports Night Competition. Kim went to the same high school and was also on the Gold Team. The energy was electric as students and spectators alike rallied behind their teams. It ended in a Gold Team Victory!
Next up, we joined Kim's family for the Annual Bowling Party. This is the 4th annual bowling party which includes much of Kim's extended family getting together to catch up and engage in friendly competition. It is a fun-filled day and a great opportunity for all of us to be together. A few weeks later, we celebrated St. Patrick's Day in true Irish fashion. From our green attire to indulging in a traditional Irish dinner of corned beef and cabbage, we embraced the festive atmosphere, surrounded by the laughter and merriment of loved ones. The highlight of the day? Watching our niece and nephew take it all in, their faces beaming with excitement as the parade marched by.
Right before Easter, we took a quick road trip with some friends to cheer on the Boston College Hockey team as they competed in the hockey playoffs. Steve went to Boston College and has been a fan of the hockey team for a long time. We cheered them on to a 6-1 victory over Michigan Tech!
As the Easter season came upon us, we gathered once again with both our families to celebrate this joyous occasion. From decorating eggs and making easter bread to indulging in a sumptuous feast, our hearts overflowed with gratitude for the blessings of love and togetherness. As we reflected on the significance of this holiday, we were reminded of the importance of faith, hope, and renewal – themes that resonated deeply with us as we embark on this journey.
